I've seen the announcement about PCR Tests being required on Day 2 rather than Lateral Flow Test, what happens now?

We are still awaiting further updates from the UK Government regarding this, for now, we are unable to offer any further advice. Our standard refund procedure remains in place.

I'm flying back to the UK - I'm fully vaccinated, what do I need?

As of the 24th October, any vaccinated adult (and children under 17 vaccinated or not), only require a Day 2 Lateral Flow Test.

I'm flying back to the UK - I'm not fully vaccinated, what do I need?

As of the 4th October, any non-vaccinated adult, will require a pre departure antigen test and a Day 2 & Day 8 PCR Test. You will also need to isolate for 10 days on arrival into the UK

You'll also need to complete a Passenger Locator Form (PLF) which you can find here.

How does the new Day 2 Lateral Flow Test work?

We make it really easy & simple. There are 2 parts to how our Day 2 Lateral Flow Tests work.

Part 1: Register the kit online (using your Test Kit ID) that is enclosed with each test. Once you register, this will then give you your Unique Booking Reference - this is the one you require for your Passenger Locator Form. This can be done by scanning the QR code on your instructions.

Ideally, you should do this before you leave the UK, however if you are already abroad when you order, please contact one of the team via live chat and we can give you your Test Kit ID and the link to register online.

Part 2: Scan the 2nd QR code on your instructions to access the online portal. Here you will upload your results (photo of the test using the template sheet). Once uploaded, we aim to get your certificate to you within 60 minutes providing it is received within the hours of 8am - 8pm, however it is guaranteed same day (including weekends).

Part 2 can be done anytime from landing in the UK (Day 0) to 48 hours after (day 2).

Email Correspondence

Please note that it is the customers responsibility to ensure that they have removed any blocks on their email system that may prevent the registration notification and subsequent reports of results coming through.

Also we advise customers to ensure that they check SPAM / JUNK folders for email correspondence. Flysurance hold no liability where the customers own email provider has blocked communication from Flysurance. Please note that Flysurance Certificates are supplied in PDF format.

The instructions are included with each test kit and you'll be given a template and Test Kit ID, each ID is unique and belongs to your order.

This is a slightly different process to our Day 2 Lateral Flow Tests.

We aim to issue your certificate within 60 minutes of receiving your results (if received between 8am - 8pm including weekends). If we receive your results outside of these hours, they will be issued by 10am.
